Lucy Dacus, The Breeders, Father John Misty & More Added To San Francisco’s Castro Theatre Lineup

The Castro Theatre is set to host its grand reopening with a 20-date residency by Sam Smith throughout February and March, and the refurbished San Francisco venue is now unveiling its 2026 lineup of performers. On March 18, Amber Mark will take the stage, wtih highlights from the spring’s lineup including Father John Misty on March 24 and 25, Jonathan Van Ness on April 30, Santigold on May 16 and Lucy Dacus on May 18 and 19.

With $41 million in renovations, the venue returns on Feb. 10 with Sam Smith, and promises to share film announcements next week. The cultural landmark aims to bridge cinematic tradition, live music, comedy and community gatherings in service to the local LGBTQ+ community in San Francisco. Father John Misty, The Format and Lucy Dacus will all perform two-night runs on March 24 and 25, April 16 and 17 and May 18 and 19, respectively. From June 17 to 27, The Castro will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Frameline Film Festival.

Throughout the coming months, The Castro Theatre will continue to unveil further programming.
