Journey Announces 60-Date ‘Final Frontier Tour’

Journey is wrapping up a five-decade touring career with 60 shows across North America as part of thier “Final Frontier Tour.” The trek, which promises to include hits such as “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” “Lights” and more kicks off on Feb. 28 at Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The announced dates wrap on July 2 at Sames Auto Arena in Laredo, Texas, with the band promising further dates will soon be announced.
“This tour is our heartfelt thank-you to the fans who’ve been with us every step of the way – through every song, every era, every high and low,” Journey founder Neal Schon said in a statement. “We’re pulling out all the estops with a brand-new production – the hits, the deep cuts, the energy, the spectacle. It’s a full-circle celebration of the music that’s brought us all together.”
Featuring band members Neal Schon (founder, lead guitarist), Jonathan Cain (keyboards, backing vocals), Arnel Pineda (lead vocals), Jason Derlakta (keyboards, vocals), Deen Castronovo (drums, vocals) and Todd Jensen (bass), the tour includes stops in Montreal, Austin, Salt Lake City, Tampa, and more.

While this marks a farewell to one powerful chapter of the Journey we’ve shared, I want everyone to know I’m not done. Journey is booked by CAA’s Jeff Frasco worldwide. Since 1999, the band has submitted 964 headline reports to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, with 9.6 million tickets sold amassing a total gross of $637.6 million. On average, the band sells 9,971 tickets per night, with a gross of $661,570, according Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
“It’s been an incredible ride,” Jonathan Cain said in a statement. “We’ve shared our music with millions and this tour is about gratitude, connection and one last chance to feel that magic together. We wouldn’t want it any other way.”

Tickets go on sale Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
