DOING HER BEST AS PART OF ‘THE GOOD GANG’

Ella Street’s love for music is readily apparent with a plethora of examples – from listening to Cat Stevens in the back of her dad’s car as a kid; to making mixtapes for friends in the 1990s; to the present day, sitting around late into the evening alongside her father and brother, playing classics by Supertramp, Oasis or The Beatles.
Her first-ever proper gig was seeing Spice Girls at The O2, London, in 2007, where she sat in the arena’s nosebleed seats, mesmerized.
It’s a love that culminated in her current occupation as agent at WME, where she supports the careers of stars like Teddy Swims and Reneé Rapp, who are both selling out arenas across the UK and Europe; newcomers like Mabel; contemporary talent like Coco Jones, and Goldfrapp, as well as veterans of the game like JoJo, Keane and Madness.
Teddy Swims, the cover star of Pollstar’s January 2025 issue, sold out Co-op Live Manchester twice this year, and set a new ticket sales record for the UK’s biggest arena. The two shows on March 10 and 16 moved a total of 36,459 tickets and grossed $2,482,671, according to the box office reports submitted to Pollstar.
Keane celebrated 20 years since releasing their debut album, Hopes and Fears, with a run of shows, selling out 80,000 tickets in the UK alone, including two nights at The O2, London.
“I feel very honored to work with the talent we represent and be a part of this industry,” says Street, “I love my colleagues, who have become my friends; I love the artists; and I love the challenge.”
She also loves her family, “who prop me up and push me forwards. My kids remind me daily what is important. I have two young sons and learning to navigate motherhood with this job has been quite the challenge. There are some other incredible, inspiring music mums across the industry, including Lucy (Dickins) who has shown me it is possible. Those role models didn’t exist when I started, and there’s a good gang of us now. Can you have it all? I’m not sure, but I do my best every day!”
