Ivana Coluccia began dreaming about a career in live entertainment when she was only 12 years old. “Music has always been a constant in my life, and I somehow always knew that this was what I was meant for,” she says.

“I had found my calling and I was eager to get started and get hands on, and I’ve never looked back.”

In her role as senior music agent at Friends & Partners, Coluccia also oversees the Italy-based company’s concert division. As such, she’s worked on way too many exciting and challenging tours over the last few years to single out a specific one. “Each one has brought its own set of goals, obstacles, and creative solutions – and in that sense, every successful launch felt like a win in its own right,” says Coluccia.

A recent project her team can be extremely proud of is Italian pop singer Laura Pausini’s 2023-24 world tour, which kicked off and concluded in Italy, and visited Europe, the UK, North, South, and Central America between December 2023 and December 2024. Coluccia coordinated every single detail of that run, “pushing geographical boundaries and achieving impressive outcomes.”

She’ll do it again when embarking on Pausini’s next world trek in 2026-27. Meanwhile, Italian singer Eros Ramazzotti announced the “Una Storia Importante World Tour” for next year. Both tours feature more than 50 dates each.

Every booking agent needs fierce negotiation skills, especially when introducing local superstars to markets where few have heard of them. Coluccia balances “the expectations and objectives of my company, and all the artists we cooperate with, trying to secure both high-quality standards and profitable engagements. Building a successful tour requires making sure that every party involved has its needs and wants met, which entails impressive negotiations and interpersonal skills. This is especially true for my case, as I’ve had the privilege to not only showcase to the world the most representative Italian artists, but also to see them grow with astounding results.”
