Red Clay Strays Announce Madison Square Garden Headline Show, Aug. 9

Alabama-born Red Clay Strays continue to go big and build audiences across the world, with the latest big swing from the band being a headline show at Madison Square Garden in New York, set for Aug. 9 and promoted by AEG Presents.

“Never would have thought we’d be headlining Madison Square Garden,” says the band’s frontman, Brandon Coleman, in the announcement. “We are very grateful to be checking this one off the bucket list!”  Joining as support for the MSG show are The Revivalists and Brent Cobb. The show will be recorded live.

Select presales are available from Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. ET through Thursday, Nov. 13 at 11:59 p.m ET. General onsale starts Friday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m ET.

The news adds to a huge year for the band, now poised as one of the hottest new live bands in the music scene, having just announced a Stagecoach festival performance after a sold-out “Get Right Tour” and CMA Award nomination for Vocal Group of the Year.

 “We’re trying to stay hungry, man,” the charismatic Coleman told Pollstar for a recent cover story, ahead of two nights headlining Red Rocks after already playing Ford Amphitheater in Colorado Springs the night before. 

“Most people don’t see all the hard work that was put in before the ‘blow up’ and viral moment with ‘Wondering Why,’ but these guys have been together for seven or eight years and were doing 120, 130 shows a year before we even started working with them,” said WME’s Kanan Vitolo , who along with fellow agent Alex Collignon signed the band in 2023.
