Hayley Williams Announces Solo Tour With Plans To Combat Scalpers

After receiving four Grammy nominations for her solo album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party, Hayley Williams quietly announced a solo tour over the weekend.

The Paramore frontwoman will visit theaters across North America and Europe on a 27-date run, starting at The Tabernacle in Atlanta March 28. The North American leg includes doubles at Boston’s House of Blues, Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall, New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, the Ryman in Nashville, the Fox in Oakland and wraps with a double at the Wiltern in Los Angeles May 12 and 13. The tour then crosses the Atlantic for its European leg, beginning June 5 in Milan with stops in Berlin, London and more before the tour wraps in Dublin June 29.

Williams has implemented a strategy meant to combat bots and scalpers by partnering with fan verification service Openstage, which provides a unique code for the presale, with tickets first-come, first-serve for registrants beginning Nov. 14. Williams also announced she is utilizing face-value ticket exchanges and disabling transfers except where prohibited by law.
