Dayglo Presents has partnered with Stable Hall in San Antonio to handle booking duties at the historic building that debuted as a concert venue in 2024 and work to revamp the venue’s food and beverage program.

Dayglo founder and respected concert promoter Peter Shapiro looks to honor the building’s history — it was built in 1894 as a stable for Pearl Beer’s legendary draft horses — while taking it to a new era. Under Shapiro’s purview, head talent buyer Hannah Gold (Newport Festivals, Luck Reunion) will spearhead booking and programming – effective immediately.

Stable Hall, capacity 1,000, reopened as a concert venue in 2024 and has hosted artists including Black Pumas, Gillian Welch, Fitz and the Tantrums, and Alejandro Escovedo. The venue recently announced a new general manager in Garrett Zimmerman.

In the announcement, Shapiro states, “It is an exciting time for live music and culture in San Antonio and we think Stable Hall is the perfect venue to build on the city’s momentum. We have a unique and exciting chance to be at the forefront of the region’s next evolution as it happens in real-time. I’ve been in a lot of venues and this one is very special- we’re going to do everything to position Stable Hall as the ultimate live music destination in San Antonio.”

Hannah Gold said, “Stable Hall is a gem. It’s a very special building that artists love to play, and fans are enamored with. There’s a spirit when you walk through the door, and it’s palpable right away. It’s also surrounded by incredible restaurants and practically attached to one of the nicest hotels in the country. We’re planting our flag as a haven for San Antonio’s finest bands and artists as well as a must-play venue for national and global acts.”

GM Zimmerman added, “We are beyond excited to be working with Peter Shapiro and the Dayglo team. This is a win not only for Stable Hall, but for the city of San Antonio to have such an iconic promoter bringing shows to the market. By integrating top national, regional, and local creatives into the Pearl community- one already reimagining the culinary and hospitality scene, we’re creating an environment where artists can finally experience the same level of care and inspiration as their fans.”

The announcement states that Dayglo will also work with Stable Hall to revamp its food and beverage program, with more announcements expected soon.

Dayglo’s portfolio includes owning and operating the popular and innovative Brooklyn Bowl (Williamsburg, Las Vegas, Nashville, Philadelphia), The Capitol Theatre, Bearsville Theater, Wetlands Preserve, and LOCKN’ Farm in Arrington, Virginia. Shapiro partnered exclusively with the family of Jerry Garcia to open Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre.
