PLUS 1, a nonprofit that helps artists and brands develop philanthropic programs, unveiled the winners of the second annual PLUS1 Impact Awards, which recognize artists, industry leaders and partners who use their platform to engage in social impact.

The organization’s Impact Awards celebrate impact and progress made behind the scenes by those in the music industry, addressing issues such as mental health, food security, LGBTQ+ rights and more.

Among this year’s honorees is pop superstar Sabrina Carpenter, who is receiving the PLUS1 Million Award, recognizing artists and partners who have worked with the nonprofit and raised more than $1 million for charitable causes. Other honorees in this category are $uicideboy$, AEG Presents, Live Nation, Creative Artists Agency and Wasserman.

Mumford & Sons are receiving the Impact Leader Award for raising the most funds via PLUS1 in 2025, and Wyatt Flores is being honored with the Rising Star Award. Alex G, Diplo’s Run Club and Rainbow Kitten Surprise are being recognized for their significant impact in their communities and receiving the Community Hero Award. Stadium act Post Malone is being honored with the Arts Advocate Award for using his platform to promote the arts.

“This year’s honorees exemplify what’s possible when purpose meets action,” Marika Anthony-Shaw, founder and CEO of PLUS1, said in a statement. “Their leadership shows how every corner of the industry — from artists to agents, managers, marketers to venue teams — can turn creativity into collective impact. At PLUS1, we’re proud to help connect and amplify that work, and to celebrate the people driving real, lasting change.”

Other honorees include Denise Melanson of Wasserman, Merce Jessor of Volara Management, Zoe Williamson of United Talent Agency, CAA’s Kevin French, First Avenue and The Salt Shed, a beloved venue in Chicago.

“Impact has always been a central part of how I think about artist development and live music – it shouldn’t be separate from the work, it should be part of it,” Volara Management’s Jessor said. “PLUS1 provides artists the opportunity to turn their values into real-world impact, reinforcing the music industry’s role as a force for change.”

PLUS1’s Impact Awards are presented in partnership with Wasserman, and awardees are determined through the nonprofit’s evaluation of impact, which includes funds raised, lives reached and outcomes achieved.

The nonprofit began with the idea of investing $1 of every concert ticket sold going to communities in need, and it has since partnered with hundreds of artists and brands to grant more than $32 million to nonprofits all over the globe. For more information about PLUS1, visit plus1.org.
