The Country Music Association Announces Presenters And Special Guest For ‘The 59th Annual CMA Awards’ Airing Wednesday On ABC

Anticipation is building for “The 59th Annual CMA Awards” with the announcement of presenters and special guests making an appearance during what’s known as “Country Music’s Biggest Night.” Hosted by Lainey Wilson, the live broadcast airs from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday on ABC, and Thursday on Hulu.

This year’s CMA Awards presenters and special guests include Lady A; banjoist Alison Brown; “9-1-1: Nashville” star Jessica Capshaw; Billy Ray Cyrus; Lauren Daigle; Jordan Davis; Elizabeth Hurley; Cody Johnson; comedian Bert Kreischer; Brandon Lake; Ella Langley; actor and banjoist Steve Martin; comedian Leanne Morgan; NE-YO; actor Chris  O’Donnell; Kimberly Perry; singer and “9-1-1: Nashville” star LeAnn Rimes; actor and producer Alan Ritchson; host of ABC’s “Good Morning America” Lara Spencer; actor, musician and star of “Landman” Billy Bob Thornton; star of Hulu’s “Tell Me Lies” and “The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox” Grace Van Patten; Gretchen Wilson; and Bailey Zimmerman. 

Keith Urban and Little Big Town have also been added as performers joining a list of previously announced performers that include Wilson, Kelsea Ballerini, BigXthaPlug, Brandi Carlile, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Patty Loveless, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, The Red Clay Strays, Shaboozey, Chris Stapleton, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore and Stephen Wilson Jr. 

In addition to the network broadcast, “CMA Awards Backstage Live” is a second screen experience hosted by Lauren Alaina and HaleyyBaylee live on CMA’s TikTok channel. The show will take viewers behind the scenes at Bridgestone Arena during the broadcast. CMA will go live multiple times on TikTok starting at the red carpet and wrapping up after the last trophy is handed out, featuring interviews with artists and celebrities.
