BP Pulse Live Birmingham To Host The UK’s Largest-Ever Sing-Along Concert

A record-breaking 20,000 singers are set to take part in Rock Choir Live, spread out across two shows on Nov. 29 at BP Pulse Live in Birmingham, England.
Founded by Caroline Redman Lusher MBE, the award-winning and pioneering Rock Choir is the world’s largest contemporary choir by its own admission. Lusher will be joined on stage by 100 Rock Choir Leaders, who usually teach amateur singers with a Rock Choir membership across the UK. When all of these leaders come together on stage, they form a super vocal group called The Rock Choir Vocal Group.
They will lead the audience through an immersive and participatory experience. According to the show’s announcement, “each attendee plays a vital role in creating the sound, atmosphere, and magic of the event.”
Past Rock Choir arena events featured only Rock Choir members. The upcoming Nov. 29 shows in Birmingham – the first starting at 1.15 p.m. the other at 7 p.m. local time – mark the first time, the show’s being opened to the general public, who can purchase tickets. GA prices ranged between $65 and $105 at the time of this writing.

Promoted in partnership with Cuffe & Taylor, Rock Choir Live is a response to a growing appetite for events that bring people together in person, offering a chance to share music, laughter, and togetherness.
Celebrity guests that’ll join the show on Nov. 29 include Sam Ryder, Emeli Sandé, and Russell Watson with DJ Pat Sharp warming up the crowd before the main show begins.
Guests can either watch the show as a well-produced pop concert or join in whenever they receive a lyric prompt.
“We hope to tour with the show in future years across the UK. The demand of an immersive interactive sing -along show is more popular than ever and as the world’s largest contemporary choir – Rock Choir, is perfect to take the Rock Choir LIVE brand forward,” Mark Harrison, promoter at Cuffe & Taylor, told Pollstar.
