Foundations Celebrates 25 Years Of Artist Management

Foundations is celebrating 25 years, and the artist management company is reflecting on its last quarter-century. Since its early days, Foundations has worked to identify potential early on and nurture clients throughout each chapter of their career. With 2025 featuring major signings, as Chappell Roan made her way over to the company, the year signified highlights for Foundations.
The company also represents artists including Noah Kahan and Laufey. Clients Laufey and Chappell Roan recently snagged awards nominations for the 2026 Grammys.
Steve Bursky founded Foundations in 2000 out of his college dorm room in Philadelphia. He started with managing Dispatch, bringing them from independent venues to selling out arenas. Brian Winton joined the company in 2004, becoming the company’s first official team member, and launching the New York office alongside Bursky. In 2008, he was named a partner. Drew Simmons officially joined in 2010, becoming a partner at the company in 2015. Max Gredinger joined the company full-time in 2012, and was named a partner in 2022.
Foundations has offices in New York, Nashville, Los Angeles and Greenwhich, Connecticut, with 40 employees.
