Adidas Originals And GloRilla Celebrate HBCU Excellence At Bayou Classic

Adidas Originals and Grambling State University are bringing together Grammy-nominated artist GloRilla, Grambling State University’s “World Famed” Tiger Marching Band and The Orchesis Dance Company for a halftime performance at the 2025 Bayou Classic on Nov. 29 from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

The collaboration marks a celebration of HBCU excellence, creativity and Adidas’ ongoing investment in institutions that shape the future of sport and culture. The performance combines music, movement and tradition on one of the most iconic stages in Black college culture.

“The Bayou Classic is a huge moment for HBCU culture and performing with Adidas and Grambling State is really special,” states GloRilla. “Being on the field with these students, seeing them represent their school and community is powerful.” 

Multi-Platinum hip hop artist GloRilla experienced a successful 2025 with the release of her debut album Glorious and her sold-out tour. During the Bayou Classic she will share the spotlight with Grambling State’s legendary performing arts programs.

In partnership with Orchesis Director and Grambling alumna J’aime Grifith, Adidas’ LA WRKSHP co-created custom costumes for the dance company, spotlighting women at the forefront of creativity, craftsmanship and cultural influence. The performance will showcase the signature precision of the “World Famed” Tiger Marching Band and Orchesis Dance Company, whose legacy more than a century. Adidas’ long-term partnership with Grambling State University as a model for how the brand empowers HBCU athletes and creative programs. Through NIL education, career development pathways and creative collaboration, the company is investing in the next generation of leaders, creators and innovators.

The halftime performance at the 2025 Bayou Classic – a rivalry between Grambling State University and Southern University – will be broadcast nationally on NBC and Peacock.
