Rhythm + Waves: New Rap & Electronic Fest Launches In Europe

Rhythm + Waves is making its debut on the beach in Portugal next summer, June 27-28, 2026, with a lineup that unites some of the biggest names in global rap and electronic culture.

Headliners include Gunna, Ken Carson, Chase & Status, D-Block Europe, with special guest A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. They lead a stacked bill over two days that also features Lancey Foux, Destroy Lonely, who all perform on The Wake Stage.

The Centre East Stage will be taken over by bass and DnB acts, from Hybrid Minds and Andy C, to DJ EZ, Skream, Flava D b2b Arthi, SHERELLE and more.

The Portuguese dance festival NEOPOP will curate a house and techno program on the Centre West Stage, with names still to come.

The setting of the premiere of Rhythm + Waves is the Praia da Rocha beach in Portimão, the site of Afro Nation Portugal. Like the popular Afrobeats and Amapiano festival, Rhythm + Waves is promoted by The Malachite Group.
