Musician A.J. Croce, the son of legendary folk singer Jim Croce, announced he will be extending his successful tour honoring his late father, unveiling 2026 dates to his successful “Croce Plays Croce Tour.”
Croce’s 2026 tour kicks off March 10 at Lyric Theatre in Birmingham, Alabama, and the routing includes stops at Graceland Soundstage in Memphis, Nashville’s Brown County Music Center, Criterion in Oklahoma City, Austin’s Paramount Theatre, Tarrytown Music Hall in New York and Santa Barbara’s Lobero Theatre before wrapping up at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California, on Sept. 27.

Tickets for the newly announced concerts go on sale Dec. 5 at 10 a.m. local time. Visit ajcrocemusic.com for more information.
The 16-date trek is a celebration of the Croce family legacy, featuring music from A.J. Croce, a multi-instrumentalist who has put out 11 studio albums over the past three decades, and his legendary father, who is known for hits like “Time in a Bottle,” “I Got a Name” and “Bad, Bad Leroy Brown.”
A.J. Croce has worked with iconic artists like Ray Charles, B.B. King, James Brown, Willie Nelson and Rod Stewart, and those experiences encouraged him to pursue his own path as a musician before embracing his father’s music in live performances.
“I was touring for 30 years before I ever really performed any of my father’s music,” Croce tells Pollstar. “I think it’s one of those things where you have less to prove to yourself as you get older and less to others, and it’s more about the joy of doing it.
“It just took time; it took a lot of years of playing a lot of different styles of music, writing with hundreds of different people and thousands of songs, and finally, I felt like I could do this in a way that allows me to be who I am as an artist. … I wanted to be able to have freedom to do my own music, I wanted to have freedom to connect my father’s music with my music.”
The shows promise to be energetic and moving by celebrating the past and today through music and stories from Croce. The 2025 leg of the tour was a success and had glowing reviews from critics. Croce recently performed in popular venues like The Wilbur in Boston, The Town Hall in New York and Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, where he grossed $97,323 off 1,639 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
