Tickets go on sale Dec. 3 at 9 a.m. Pacific.

Ahead of the exhibition’s opening, Gorillaz will play live at the Hollywood Palladium Feb. 22 and 23, performing the band’s new album The Mountain.

Exhibition ticketbuyers will receive a presale code via email and a limited number of tickets will also be available during the general onsale at 9 a.m. Pacific Dec. 10 at livenation.com. Gorillaz are using Face Value Exchange, wherein tickets can only be resold at face value.

House of Kong is a “a jaunt behind the curtain of Gorillaz’ extraordinary world. “

“A journey through the band’s life of misadventures, musical innovation and ground-breaking virtual ways since these four outsiders – bassist Murdoc Niccals, singer 2D, drummer Russel Hobbs and guitarist Noodle – first came together to blow up a pre-digital world with the release of Tomorrow Comes Today in 2000,” a statement says. “An exhibition like no other, House of Kong is an experience for the brave and bold.”

House of Kong was developed by creative director Stephen Gallagher and his studio, SWEAR, in collaboration with Jamie Hewlett, Damon Albarn and Eleven Management.

Gorillaz had a four-night stand at London’s Copper Box Arena in August and September, grossing a total of more than $2.8 million on 25,769 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.

In North America, Gorillaz are repped by CAA.
