Cypress Hill Enters Portugal’s City Of Rock
Cypress Hill have joined the lineup of Rock in Rio Lisbon, June 21, joining headliners Linkin Park on the festival’s World Stage. On the same day, Sepultura will headline the Music Valley Stage, while Kaiser Chiefs lead the bill on the Super Bock Stage.
Roberta Medina, Executive Vice President of Rock in Rio, commented, “This day represents a particularly symbolic moment for its energy, strength, and identity: this lineup brings together different generations of rock and metal and celebrates the deep connection this audience has always had with us.”
Rock in Rio Lisbon runs across two weekends, June 20-21 and June 27-28, at Parque Tejo in the Portuguese capital. Katy Perry has been announced as June 20 headliner, and Rod Stewart will fill that slot on June 27.
Taking place every two years, the 2026 edition will see the City of Rock expanding by more than 25,000 square meters, and elevating its offering with new entertainment spaces, more comfort, and unforgettable moments, according to a press release.
Tickets are on sale, starting at €89 ($104) for a GA day ticket, or €157 ($183) for a weekend pass. A range of premium and VIP tickets are available, too.

The War On Drugs Join Rock Werchter Bill
The War On Drugs are the latest addition to another stellar Rock Werchter bill, which already features Mumford & Sons, The Prodigy, The Lumineers, The xx, Lewis Capaldi, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party, Gorillaz, Twenty One Pilots, Halsey, Pixies, Matt Berninger, Kneecap, The Cure, Moby, Ethel Cain, and more.
The iconic Belgian festival, which turned 50 this year, returns to Werchter’s Festivalpark July 2-5. Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.be, with GA day tickets going for €140 ($163). Full festival tickets start at €315 ($367), camping tickets for the various campsites need to be purchased extra.

Way Out West Announces Next Wave Of Artists
Way Out West will return to Slottsskogen Park in Gothenburg, Aug. 13–15, 2026, marking its eighteenth edition. Building on its first wave of headliners – The Cure, Gorillaz and Ravyn Lenae – Way Out West has announced new names for 2026: Zara Larsson, Lorde, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Moby, sombr, The xx, Four Tet, Dijon, Anna von Hausswolff and Oklou.
These latest additions underline the festival’s trademark blend of global icons, visionary producers and boundary-pushing artists, with more than 100 further acts still to be revealed.
Three-day tickets for Way Out West 2026 are on sale for SEK 3,395 ($361). One and two-day tickets will be released Dec. 10. Premium priced VIP and discounted youth options are available.
For 2026, the festival is also introducing Open Day tickets, which allow fans to decide which day to attend until April 1. Tickets can be purchased via wayoutwest.se.

Rock Stars In Paris: Rock En Seine Announces Next Wave
After announcing three headliners in recent weeks, Tyler, the Creator, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Cure, Rock en Seine rolls out a new wave of artists and bands, spread across four days, Aug. 26-30, 2026, when the festival returns to the domaine national de Saint-Cloud.
Franz Ferdinand, Slowdive, Biffy Clyro, Interpol, Deftones, The Black Keys, Lambrini Girls, Amyl & The Sniffers, and some current phenomena, including Sombr, Ravyn Lenae, Miki and LANDMVRKS.
Day tickets for Wednesday, Aug. 26, Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29, are on sale. Day tickets for Sunday, Aug. 30, two-day and three-day passes are sold out. Regular day tickets start at €94 ($109), there are €20 ($23) tickets for children available.

Primavera Sound Announces La Ciutat Program
Much of Primavera Sound’s main festival lineup has been unveiled: leading a diverse bill are Wet Leg, The Cure, Doja Cat, Massive Attack, The xx, Gorillaz, My Bloody Valentine, Carl Cox, and many more.
While the main festival takes place at Barcelona’s Parc del Forum, June 3-7, there will be 59 concerts taking place across seven venues in the heart of the city, with the so-called La Ciutat program kicking off June 1.
Mogwai, Blood Orange, Yves Tumor, Yerai Cortés, Black Country, New Road, Santiago Motorizado, bar italia, Sorry, Hannah Diamond, Current 93, Model/Actriz, Cass McCombs, Six Sex, billy woods and Konono Nº1 will all perform in the festival’s parallel program.
The venues that’ll be hosting them include Sala Apolo, La (2) de Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral·lel 62, La Nau, LAUT, Enfants, and CCCB. There’ll be no shows in the city June 4-6 as to not distract from the main festival program.
Full festival tickets, now on sale, start at €350 ($408) plus fees. Day tickets start at €135 ($157).

55 Bands For 35th Wacken
Wacken Open Air has announced 55 bands for its 35th anniversary, scheduled to go down July 29-Aug. 1 in Wacken, Germany.
Judas Priest, Arch Enemy, Black Label Society, Hatebreed, Def Leppard, Hämatom, In Flames, and many more will offer the diverse mix of hard and very hard rock Wacken has built its reputation for over 35 years.
While honoring its roots, given the 35th Anniversary, Wacken Open Air will at the same time embrace what promoters have described as “new currents of the Heavy Metal river.” Electric Callboy, for instance, will bring their new DJ project Electric Bassboy to the Holy Ground – the established name for Wacken’s festival site – for the first time.
Wacken Open Air co-founder & promoter Holger Hübner commented, “With a band wave like this we’d like to grant our fans a premature Christmas gift – Heavy Metal style of course!”

The first two ticket tiers are sold out, but the last category of full festival tickets, starting at €351 ($409) including camping from July 26 to Aug. 2, are still available.

Helsinki Goes With The Flow
Finland’s Flow Festival has unveiled PinkPantheress, Florence + The Machine, Zara Larsson, Clipse, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Turnstile, KETTAMA, Honey Dijon and more for its 2026 edition, which returns to the country capital Helsinki, Aug. 14-16.
Sombr, Oklou, Lambrini Girls, Nu Genea Live Band, Vesta, Pearly Drops and Olga are also confirmed to take a stage at the iconic Suvilahti Power Plant in downtown Helsinki.
Tickets are on sale. Three-day tickets start at €259 ($301), with a platinum option going for €399 ($465). An open one-day ticket starts at €159 ($185).

Øya Festival’s Fourth Wave
Norway’s Øya Festival unveiled the fourth wave of artists for the 2026 edition running Aug. 12–15 in Oslo’s Tøyenparken.
The Cure, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Sombr, Clipse, Ravyn Lenae, Lambrini Girls, Underworld, Dijon, as well as Norway’s own Dagny, Alle Mine Hunder, Valkyrien Allstars, Anakin Justin, May, and many more are confirmed.
Tickets for Øya Festival 2026 are on sale. Full festival passes start at NOK 4,184 ($414), those aged under 23 can get one for NOK 3,584 NOK ($354), and those aged 12-18 for NOK 2,184 NOK ($216). Those under 12 only pay NOK 200 ($19). Day passes for one or multiple days are also available.

24 New Names For M’era Luna
Germany’s leading Gothic festival M’era Luna, which returns to the Hildesheim-Drispenstedt airfield, Aug. 8-9, has announced the first 24 names, led my medieval rock icons Saltatio Mortis.
Also confirmed for M’era Luna 2026: Lacrimosa, The Birthday Massacre, The 69 Eyes, Hocico, Skynd, Veljanov, Neuroticfish, Unzucht, Stahlmann, Diorama, Clan Of Xymox, Tyske Ludder, Then Comes Silence, M. Walking On The Water, Jesus on Extasy, Tabernis, Sotiria, Auger, Eisenfunk, Xandria, Principe Valiente, SynthAttack, and Beyond Obsession.
Most tickets are sold out, according to promoter FKP Scorpio. A three-day festival ticket starts at €169 ($197) including standard camping. VIP options and tickets including a stay at a hotel are available, too.

Six Headliners For Reading & Leeds
Reading & Leeds, the UK’s most iconic twin festivals, have shared six huge headliners for 2026: Charli xcx, Chase & Status, Dave, Florence + The Machine, Fontaines D.C. and RAYE – making it an exclusively British and Irish set of headliners for the first time in 25 years.
The festivals are scheduled to take place Aug. 27-30 at Richfield Avenue in Reading, and Bramham Park in Leeds, respectively. For the first time in the event’s history, Leeds Festival will also welcome performers to the Main Stage on Thursday, Aug. 27, and joining the line-up at Bramham Park in August will be Thursday headliners Kasabian.
Also appearing across the Reading & Leeds weekend are Skepta, Sombr, Role Model, Jade, Josh Baker, Kneecap, Kettama, Chris Stussy (Reading only), Geese, Skye Newman, Adéla and Keo.
Ticket for both Reading and Leeds are one sale, starting at £325 ($434) for a full festival ticket that includes camping. A range of day, non-camping, and VIP tickets is available.

Kaiser Chiefs For 20th Wychwood Festival
When Wychwood Festival returns to Cheltenham Racecourse for its 20th edition, May 29-31, it will be headlined by Kaiser Chiefs.
Speaking about this engagement, Kaiser Chiefs’ Ricky Wilson commented, “Really looking forward to playing Wychwood next summer. Any festival that puts us top of the bill must have excellent taste so it bodes well. The summer is when we thrive, we are good at festivals and if you haven’t seen us before it’s a strong recommend. If you have seen us before then we hope to see you”
Two more headliners, as well as the full musical lineup and program will be announced soon. Tickets are on sale, with more than 70% of weekend tickets already sold. Adult weekend tickets excluding camping start at £144.50 ($193) plus fees.

Lytham Festival Unveils Final Headliner
Alanis Morissette has been revealed as the fifth and final headliner for Lytham Festival 2026, which returns to Lancashire, England, July 1-5, marking the event’s 15th anniversary. Alanis Morissette’s performance also marks one of only five UK performances by the Canadian artist next summer. She will be joined on the night by Skunk Anansie.
Alanis Morissette completes a 15th anniversary lineup of headliners that also includes Teddy Swims on opening night, Michael Bublé (July 3), Pet Shop Boys (July 4), and Pitbull (July 5).
Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor commented, “We are thrilled to be able to welcome Alanis Morissette back next summer. She is a cultural phenomenon and judging by the reaction to her shows in the UK this summer there is little doubt her arrival in Lytham will be a massive night.
“It’s not often possible to make these things happen due to an artist’s touring schedule but the stars have aligned so we are very excited. To have Skunk Anansie on the bill too only makes for what will be an incredible night of live music and powerful vocals.
“Alanis completes our line-up of headliners for 2026. It’s a very special year for us celebrating the 15th Lytham Festival and to have such international icons on the bill will make for a very memorable five days. As ever we have programmed a festival that appeals to as wide an audience as possible and we still have a number of special guests to reveal.”

Terminal V Invests Big
When Terminal V Festival returns to The Royal Highland Centre + Showground in Edinburgh, Scotland, April 18-19, it promises fans an elevated festival experience in every aspect.
That’s thanks to a £1 million investment, which will be used to improve stages, facilities and audience areas. Changes include every stage being fully upgraded and redesigned; new PA systems and advanced speaker setups, and collaborations with a leading global sound partner to deliver the most precise Terminal V audio yet; the return of the beloved Area V stage in its original format; five additional, newly developed stages; as well as new chill-out zones and expanded indoor and outdoor seating.
The food offering will be expanded, as will the number of toilets with upgraded cleaning teams operating continuously, enhanced lighting and signage, and a redesigned VIP environment with capped capacity, upgraded viewing areas, faster service points and exclusive facilities.
The lineup for the 2026 edition of the 40,000-capacity Terminal V Festival includes Robert Hood, Sara Landry’s ETERNALISM, Ben Hemsley, Klangkuenstler, 999999999, Anetha, Patrick Mason, Ben Techy x Luciid, Clouds x Tommy Holohan, I Hate Models, Pegassi, SIM0NE X SPFDJ, Special Request, Will Atkinson, Alex Farell, and many more.

Boardmasters Reels In Fatboy Slim, Kasabian & Loyle Carner
Boardmasters, the unique festival blending music and surfing, returns to the coast of Cornwall, England, Aug. 5-9, 2026. Fatboy Slim, Kasabian, and Loyle Carner lead the first wave of confirmed artists.
The Kooks, Dizzee Rascal, Tinie Tempah, Example, Ren, Pendulum [Live], Rudimental and more are also amongst the first wave of names.
Surfing and beach sports form a huge part of Boardmasters’ program, and 2026 sees the return of the Boardmasters Open – WSL Men’s & Women’s Pro, and Junior Open, surf lessons, and coastal adventure packages, plus an expansive world of wellness and sport, featuring yoga, sound baths, spa and sauna sessions, hot tubs and ice baths, massage, Muscle Beach fitness, run clubs, football comps, cardio core classes and even disco yoga.
Tickets are on sale. A full five-day festival ticket including camping starts at £274 ($366) plus booking fee. Heavily reduced child tickets, as well as camping tickets across four or three festival days, plus VIP options are all available.
Mumford & Sons At Hyde Park
Mumford & Sons have been revealed as the next headliners of BST Hyde Park 2026. They’ll take the Great Oak Stage on July 4, when The War On Drugs will join as special guests.
Mumford & Sons are the fifth BST Hyde Park headliners confirmed for 2026. The others are Garth Brooks (June 27), Maroon 5 (July 3), Pitbull (July 10), and Lewis Capaldi, who’ll perform twice, July 11-12.
A GA ticket for the Mumford & Sons day at Hyde Park starts at £112.85 ($150.55) via AXS. They go all the way to the “Ultimate Diamond VIP Experience” for £400.95 ($467.50).
