Attended by over 500 guests including promoters, venues, agents, festivals, artist managers and more, the event was hosted by comedian Tom Ward and saw awards collected by individuals and companies from across the live music community.

Chosen by a panel of industry experts and covering all sectors of live music, The LIVE Awards recognises and celebrates individuals and organisations who have made a significant impact during the last year, with 15 awards in total handed out throughout the evening, culminating in the presentation of The LIVEtime Achievement Award to Stuart Galbraith, Founder & CEO of Kilimanjaro Live.

Galbraith, a 2022 Pollstar Impact International honoree, has been a key player in the growth of UK live music over the last four decades.

Solo Wins Best Booking Agency

One of the UK’s most successful and longest-standing live music agencies was named best Booking Agency with fewer than 21 members at last night’s LIVE Awards. The independent agency was founded by John Giddings in 1986.

On accepting the Booking Agency award, head of Solo, Charly Beedell-Tuck said, “Accepting this award is a huge honour. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved and the future we’re shaping at Solo —as an independent agency. Being independent means fighting harder, dreaming bigger, and proving that heart, passion and determination can outshine size.”

Beedell-Tuck, who’s also the 2024 Pollstar Impact International cover star, added, “To my boss, John Giddings—thank you for your unwavering guidance, support, and trust. Thank you for believing in me to help lead this ship and carry our vision forward. To our brilliant team — you are the heartbeat of Solo Agency. Your dedication, commitment, and the countless late nights make everything we do possible. We truly value each and every one of you. To our artists: thank you for trusting us with your talent and letting us be part of your journey—you are the reason we do what we do. And to our partners—the managers, promoters, venues, and everyone who helps turn ideas into unforgettable shows— we couldn’t do this without you.”

Solo is renowned for its work with legendary artists such as Blondie, Phil Collins and Iggy Pop, as well as contemporary acts including Little Mix, The Kooks, Sex Pistols ft. Frank Carter, The K’s, Bullet For My Valentine and many more. In its role as European Touring Consultant for Live Nation, the agency has been responsible for some of the biggest grossing tours of all time by The Rolling Stones, Madonna, U2, Beyonce and David Bowie.

As LIVE’s primary annual fundraising event, all proceeds from the LIVE Awards will go towards directly supporting the organisation’s ongoing work engaging government on a range of sector critical issues and will help support its members to meet their sustainability goals while fostering a more diverse, equitable and inclusive working environment.

Gaby Cartwright, Head of Partnerships at LIVE, commented: “Tonight’s LIVE Awards were a fantastic celebration of the people who make this industry what it is. We continued to build on ideas introduced in previous years, including our vegan-first menu, and expanded our commitment to inclusivity with a dedicated no- and low-alcohol bar in partnership with Club Soda, plus a calm space for anyone who needed a breather. Huge congratulations to all of this year’s winners, and a big thank you to all our sponsors, we can’t wait to come back even bigger in 2026.”
