German Promoters Association BDKV Re-Elects Board

Germany’s promoters association BDKV has re-elected its presidents and executive board for another three-year term.

Members gave president Sonia Simmenauer, vice president Christian Doll, and the current board their unequivocal vote of confidence, or a 99.2% approval rating for the new term. They also passed the 2026 budget with a more than 99% approval — a clear sign of confidence in the work the BDKV has been doing over the last three years.

The leadership structure will remain as follows:

One of the achievements of BDKV in 2025 was the introduction of a new live award, called the Best Of Live Award (BOLA), which was awarded for the first time, Dec. 9, 2025.

A total eight winner were chosen from some 130 submissions, including Kikis Kleiner Tourneeservice (KKT), the company founded by Christian “Kiki” Ressler, long-term tour promoter of Die Toten Hosen, one of Germany’s most successful touring bands; All Artist Agency for the promotion of the “Love Songs Tour 2024” by Germany star Peter Fox; or Michael Herrmann, who received the Legends award for his work on Rheingau Musik Festivals over the last 40-plus years.
