Steve Aoki Celebrates 30 Years Of Dim Mak

Phase one of Steve Aoki’s “Dim Mak 30th Anniversary Tour” has been unveiled, with featured special guests Audien and Timmy Trumpet. The run kicks off on Feb. 7 at Vancouver’s Harbour ECC, with the first round of dates including stops in Toronto, San Francisco, Boston, Nashville and Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Aoki first launched his Dim Mak label from his college dorm room at UC Santa Barbara in 1996, naming it after his childhood hero, Bruce Lee. The label began working with The Kills, Bloc Party and The Gossip before evolving into a premier dance music label
Aoki is managed by YMU Grou’s Matt Colon and Dougie Bohay and booked by WME in North America. With 473 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, Aoki has sold a total of 976,105 tickets, grossing $40.3 million. On average, Aoki sells 2,064 tickets per show, with an average gross of $85,207, according to Pollstar’s Boxoffice.
