Following Recent Lung Cancer Surgery, Barry Manilow Announces Six New Arena Shows In March

Iconic entertainer Barry Manilow announced six new arena shows in March following his stage-one lung cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery in December. Thanks to early detection, the operation went well and his medical team is optimistic. At the time, Manilow’s previously announced January tour dates were rescheduled for march and April.
Coming back strong, Manilow, 82, announced concerts in Charlotte, Norfolk, Baltimore Cincinnati, Nashville and Lexington – marking his final concerts in these cities.
Artist pre-sale for the March dates begins Jan. 14 at 10:00 AM until Jan. 15 at 10:00 PM local time. Local and partner pre-sales start on Jan. 15 at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM local time. All other tickets are available Jan. 16 at 10:00 AM local time.
At every show, Manilow will celebrate local music educators with the Manilow Music Teacher Award. Created through the Manilow Music Project, a program of the Manilow Fund, the Manilow Music Teacher Award honors educators whose instill passion and insire their students. Nominees will be revealed on Jan. 22, the same day voting opens. The teacher receiving the most online votes will be recognized onstage during Manilow’s concert and will receive a total prize of $10,000 – a $5,000 cash award and $5,000 in “Manilow Bucks” for classroom instrument purchases.
In addition to celebrating music education, audiences can expect a night of Manilow’s classic hits including “Mandy,” “I Write the Songs,” “Looks Like We Made It,” “Can’t Smile Without You” and “Copacabana (At the Copa).”
Manilow recently released a music video for his new single “Once Before I Go.” In the video, Manilow portrays a character who sacrifices a traditional family life to pursue his dream as a performer. Filmed at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino, home to Manilow’s record-setting, acclaimed residency, the video is directed by Jamie Thraves. “Once Before I Go” was produced by Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Demonte Posey; and written by Peter Allen and Dean Pitchford.
In April, Manilow will be presented with the American Advertising Federation (AAF)’s 2026 prestigious President’s Award at the AAF’s Advertising Hall of Fame induction ceremony for his incredible work in advertising. Manilow has produced, composed, and performed some of the most iconic commercial jingles of all time for companies and brands such as State Farm, Band-Aid, KFC, Pepsi and McDonald’s among others.
