Vince Gill Announces “50 Years From Home” Tour

In 1979, Vince Gill left his home in Norman, Oklahoma, to pursue music full time. He landed in Nashville where he built an award-heavy, Hall-of-Fame career. In 2026, Gill will celebrate five decades of accomplishments from Pure Prairie League to the Eagles and a long solo career with his “50 Years From Home Tour.”
To honor the career milestone, Gill signed a lifetime contract with his record label MCA, and is releasing an EP series of new music every month for a year, titled 50 Years from Home. To date, he has released three EPs, each featuring six new songs and one previous hit: I Gave You Everything I Had (Oct. 17, 2025), Secondhand Smoke (Nov. 14, 2025) and Brown’s Diner Bar (Jan. 9, 2026).
The initial 14-market run includes a six-night residency at the Historic Ryman Auditorium. The tour kicks off on June 18 at Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, Florida, with additional Sunshine State stops in Clearwater (June 20), Fort Lauderdale (June 22), Fort Myers (June 25), Sarasota (June 26) and St. Augustine (June 27) before heading up the east coast.
Tickets for most dates will be available on Jan.16. Tickets for Battle Creek, Michigan, will be available on Jan. 17; Nashville, Tennessee, on Jan. 23: and Hershey, Pennsylvania, Schenectady, New York and Charleston, West Virginia, on Jan. 30.
The 22-time Grammy winner and acclaimed musician, songwriter, vocalist and producer has spent much of the last nine years as a touring member of the Eagles. Gill will continue to performer with the band as they continue a lengthy run of performances before sellout crowds at Sphere in Las Vegas. Over the years, Gill has been a part of other iconic bands including The Notorious Cherry Bombs and The Time Jumpers. On Nov. 19, he was presented with the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award. In 1991, he was invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry and in 2007 Gill was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame. In 2012 he was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
