Father John Misty Announces 2026 Summer Midwestern US and Canadian Dates

Following last week’s release of the single “The Old Law,” Father John Misty has added another round of North American shows to his 2026 tour plans.
The indie rocker is continuing to support 2024’s Mahashmashana, which marks his sixth studio album. The album was included on numerous “Best of” lists, with The New Yorker calling the album “an aching monument to human imperfection.”
“The Old Law,” which is available now on all digital streaming services worldwide from Sub Pop, was previously known to Father John Misty fans as “God’s Trash.” Father John Misty debuted the tune as part of his live set in the fall of 2024.
The previously announced dates start March 23 in Ventura, California, at the Majestic Ventura Theater, with the first batch of North American dates followed by a run of gigs in Europe in June.
The new dates include Father John Misty’s first headline play in the Twin Cities region since 2022 (June 8 at St. Paul, Minnesota’s Palace Theatre) and three Canadian shows in Montréal, Quebec City, and Hamilton, Ontario. Plus, Father John Misty will be playing the Winnetka Music Festival and a headline show in Grand Rapids.
A presale starts today at 10 a.m. local (password HONEYBEAR), followed by the general onsale on Friday, Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. local.
Tickets for the previously announced dates are on sale now.

Father John Misty is represented by CAA’s Adam Voith in North America, with Free Trade Agency’s James Alderman booking dates in the rest of the world.
Reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice for the artist include a Sept. 22 show at DPAC in Durham, North Carolina, that sold 1,759 tickets and grossed $100,058.
