Luke Hanna has joined Goldenvoice, a subsidiary of AEG Presents, in the company’s San Francisco office. His new role reports to Goldenvoice SVP, Talent, Danny Bell, and will find him contributing to the booking team for the Warfield and Regency Ballroom in addition to other Bay Area events.

Hanna, originally from Ventura, California, and getting his start as a booker in the 805 area’s DIY scene, previously worked at Goldenvoice first as an intern then as a full-time booking assistant to Susan Rosenbluth. For several years, he worked for Goldenvoice festivals and covered talent buyers’ desks as needed. Following his initial tenure at Goldenvoice, Hanna went on to book shows across Los Angeles, including at the Lyric Theatre, working for Spaceland Presents with Liz Gara booking The Echo, Echoplex and Regent.

“The warmth of this homecoming has been overwhelming,” Hanna said in a statement. “Danny Bell and I have known each other since college, and I can’t wait to hit the ground running with the Bay Area team. Feels great to be back.”

Hanna recently served as the talent buyer at The Regent Theatre, The Belasco and other third-party LA theaters. He’s booked shows with a variety of artists, including Jack White, Iggy Pop, Paramore, Ed Sheeran, Arca, Ice Cube, Polo & Pan, Fleet Foxes, Kelly Clarkson, Daniel Caesar and Finneas.

“We’re excited to welcome Luke back to Goldenvoice,” Bell said in a statement. “He’s built a strong track record booking shows in LA, and we’re confident he’ll be a key contributor as we continue to grow our presence in the Bay Area.”
