The Afghan Whigs Embarking On 40th Anniversary Tour

Influential rock band The Afghan Whigs is celebrating the 40th anniversary of their inception by touring North American theaters this spring.
The band hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, kick off the 20-date trek April 25 at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, New York, and the routing includes stops at Boston’s Royale, 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., Philadelphia’s Union Transfer, a hometown show at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, Chicago’s Metro, Commodore and The Bellwether in Los Angeles before wrapping up May 24 at Pappy & Hariett’s in Pioneertown, California.
Mercury Rev, which celebrates 25 years of its album All is Dream, will be supporting all dates.

The Afghan Whigs plan to drop a new record in 2026 and recently released singles “Fake Like” and “Downtown” via Royal Cream/BMG.
The quintet is booked by Paladin Artists.
