The Grammys unveiled its first round of performers at this year’s awards show, and the list is stacked with young superstars. Sabrina Carpenter confirmed she will grace the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 1, and the Grammys will have a special Best New Artist segment that will feature performances from all eight nominees: Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR and The Marías.

Carpenter performed at last year’s ceremony and also won her first Grammys in the Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album categories. She’s contending for six awards this year, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year.

With her successful debut album, Addison, Rae earned her first Grammy nod in the Best New Artist nomination, and other artists vying for their first award include Dean, SOMBR and The Marías.

Pop group KATSEYE is up for two awards, as well as Lola Young. Leon Thomas, who won for Best R&B Song in 2024, is nominated in six categories, including Album of the Year and Best R&B Album.

This year’s Grammys is introducing two new categories, Best Traditional Country Album and Best Album Cover, recognizing “a broader spectrum of artistic craft and honoring the evolving ways music is created and experienced,” the Recording Academy says.

Additional performers will be announced leading up to the music’s biggest night, which will be broadcast live on CBS and Paramount+ Sunday, Feb. 1.
