George Strait Adds 2 Austin In-The-Round Dates

Due to overwhelming demand, country legend George Strait has added two more in-the-round shows at Austin’s Moody Center.

The new dates — May 15 and 16 — follow the previous announced shows scheduled for April. Tickets for all dates are on sale at 10 a.m. local Jan. 30.

Strait also has stadium shows already on the docket for Lubbock, Texas (April 24-25) and Clemson, S.C. (May 2).

Following his record-setting 2024 performance at College Station, Texas’ Kyle Field, which drew 110,905, Strait played just five shows in 2025 — Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Foxborough and Inglewood. Those show sold a total of 240,055 tickets, grossing a combined $52,059,380, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
