Fishbone Reveal Artists For Tribute Album And Kick Off Spring Tour April 9

Genre-defiers, Fishbone will kick off their April tour in celebration of the 40th anniversary of their debut album, In Your Face. The tour coincides with the release of the In Your Face/Cover Your Face 40th Anniversary Limited-Edition Double LP Reissue, which is now available for pre-order.
The limited-edition double LP reissue includes Disc One: a newly remastered edition of In Your Face, originally released in 1986. Disc Two: Cover Your Face, is a newly curated tribute album featuring Fishbone songs re-recorded by artists from across the globe, each offering a unique reinterpretation of the record.
Contributing artists include Twin Shadow, Patrick Stump (Fall Out Boy), Catbite, Wheatus, The Ratchets, Silversun Pickups, Kimya Dawson, comedian Dave Hill, and Doom Regulator featuring Tim Armstrong, Jesse Michaels, Joey Castillo & Spencer Pollard. Additional artists will be announced soon.
Each vinyl copy includes special collector inserts, with additional limited-edition tour variants, independent retail pressings and special editions forthcoming.
The news coincides with Fishbone’s spring 23-city tour which kicks off April 9 at August Hall in San Francisco. During the tour, Fishbone will perform In Your Face in its entirety followed by a second set of career-spanning classics and favorites. Tickets are available now.
For the first time in their touring history, Fishbone is offering a VIP experience that includes: soundcheck viewing, karaoke with the band, meet & greet, photo with the band, exclusive seven-inch vinyl featuring “Them Bones” and ‘Dam That River,” signed poster, Fishbone tote bag, souvenir laminate with lanyard and early entry to the venue.
Fishbone is currently working on a new studio album, slated for release this summer, with additional touring dates planned, but not announced. The band’s lineup includes Angelo Moore (vocals, saxophones), Christopher Dowd (keyboards, trombone, vocals), James Jones (bass), Hassan Hurd (drums), John “JS” Williams II (trumpet, vocals), and Tracey “Spacey T” Singleton (guitar).
