The comeback will be televised. BTS is partnering with Netflix to livestream their first live performance in over three years, and a feature-length documentary chronicling the group’s return.

Netflix will broadcast BTS’s special show at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, South Korea, at 8 p.m. on March 21, which is 4 a.m. PT and 7 a.m. ET. The septet will perform songs from their upcoming album ARIRANG, which will be released on March 20, and other hits.

The major streamer also partnered with HYBE, the Korean entertainment company that manages BTS, to release BTS: THE RETURN, a feature-length documentary that gives fans behind-the-scenes access to the group’s comeback. The film, directed by Bao Nguyen, who worked on The Greatest Night in Pop film about the “We Are the World” song, will premiere on March 27.

BTS unveiled the routing to its massive global stadium tour last month, and it includes stops at Tokyo Dome in Japan, Mexico City’s Estadio GNP Seguros, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, SoFi Stadium in the Los Angeles area and South American stadiums.

The 2026-2027 tour marks BTS’s first trek since 2021-2022’s “Permission to Dance on Stage” and goes along with the release of BTS’s fifth full-length album, which is due out on March 20 at midnight ET.

Highlights from BTS’s 2022 tour include the run’s final two shows, which took place at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium April 15-16, selling a total of 100,420 tickets and grossing over $18 million, according to reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice.
