Last Tour Group, by its own admission Spain’s largest independent promoter, has gone through a restructuring of its business, which involves some changes in the company leadership.

Yurdana Burgoa will assume the role of CEO, leading the organization’s executive and operational strategy. “Her track record, vision and ability to drive high-impact projects make her ideally suited to lead this new phase of growth and consolidation, guiding the company’s lead strategic upcoming decisions. With this appointment, the company strengthens its commitment to innovation and excellence in management,” the press announcement states.

Over the past year, Burgoa has served as Deputy CEO at Last Tour, as well as Director of Business Development and Public Affairs. She possesses extensive experience in the management of public and private institutions and previously spent eight and a half years as Chief of Staff and Head of Coordination at the Basque Government’s Department of Economy and Finance.

She has also served as a board member of the Basque Agency for Internationalisation, Basque Trade & Investment; as a member of the General Assembly of the Basque Research and Technology Alliance; and as a member of the Advisory Council of Basque Communities Abroad. She is also a visiting lecturer at the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces and on the Master’s Degree in Sports Business Management at UPV/EHU (University of the Basque Country).

Meanwhile, Alfonso Santiago, founder and principal shareholder of Last Tour Group, will move into the role of President, “a key position from which he will contribute his expertise and in-depth knowledge of the business. From this role, he will ensure alignment between the company’s mission, values and overall corporate direction. This reorganisation strengthens the leadership team and positions the organisation in an ideal scenario to successfully address future challenges,” the press release continues.

Last Tour Group operates across several business areas, with live music promotion as its core activity for more than 20 years. It is, by its own admission, Spain’s largest independent music promoter, organizing landmark festivals such as Bilbao BBK Live, Azkena Rock Festival, Meo Kalorama and Pirineos Sur, among others.

The group also promotes tours by leading international artists — delivering more than 500 concerts each year — and plays a significant role within the Basque, Spanish and international music industries.

In addition, the company also develops the music industry conference BIME,, which will hold its 14th edition in Bilbao and its 5th edition in Bogotá this year.

Last Tour employs more than 120 people, is headquartered in Bilbao and has offices in Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza, Pamplona, Lisbon and Bogotá, with a new office set to open in Mexico in 2026.

Cultural venue management is another of the group’s areas of activity, with venues in the Basque Country, Navarre and Madrid, as well as new projects planned for 2026 and 2027. In addition, the group operates the publishing house Liburuak, with more than 45 titles published so far, and the record label Oso Polita.
