Shinedown Set ‘Act II’ Of ‘Dance, Kid, Dance’ Tour

Rockers Shinedown are headed back to the road later this year with a massive “Act II” to their “Dance, Kid, Dance” tour that will take them to 54 stops in 11 countries across North America and Europe.

The North American leg begins May 13 at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and will stop in arenas across the country, including plays in Toronto, Philadelphia and Las Vegas. The headline dates wrap Aug. 21 at Treasure Island Resort in Welch, Minnesota. The band then plays the Illinois State Fair, Iowa’s Velocity Festival and Illinois’ McHenry Music Festival ahead of their Lunatic Ball Beach Weekend in Miramar Beach, Florida, Oct. 23-25.

The European run begins at Paris’ Zénith Paris Oct. 31 and includes stops in Milan, Prague and Berlin before crossing the English Channel for a series of UK and Ireland dates, including at London’s OVO Arena Wembley. The tour ends with a Nov. 22 concert at Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre.

Coheed and Cambria, Black Stone Cherry, From Ashes to New, DJ Rock Feed and Those Damn Crows will support on various dates. North American tickets go on sale 10 a.m. local Feb. 20 and European and United Kingdom tickets go on sale 10 a.m. local Feb. 27.

Highlights from “Dance, Kid, Dance” include a 10,445-ticket sell out at Boston’s TD Garden July 19, grossing $936,042, according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.

The band is represented in North America by longtime agent Ron Opaleski in North America and internationally by Lucy Dickins and Josh Javor. Led by president, owner and radio promotions guru Bill McGathy, the Shinedown management team also includes managers Liam Pesce and Gwyther Bultman and president and managing director Alison Shepard.
