Building off a memorable Super Bowl halftime show and a successful start to his global tour, Bad Bunny will deliver another special performance later this year in Japan. The Puerto Rican megastar will headline Spotify’s next installment of the Billions Club Live series with a concert in Tokyo on March 7.

Bad Bunny, who was named Spotify’s top Global Artist last year for a fourth time in his remarkable career, has never performed in Asia, and his upcoming concert there is a testament to the global reach of Latin music, and the Billions Club Live series aims to celebrate artists whose songs have achieved a billion streams in key markets. Previous Billions Club Live shows include The Weeknd in Los Angeles, Ed Sheeran in Dublin and Miley Cyrus in Paris.

The one-night-only concert celebrates Bad Bunny’s historic catalog, which includes 28 tracks that have surpassed the billion streams mark, and only his top listeners in Japan have access to the special show, which will feature a setlist full of his billion-stream hits as well as his latest songs.

Bad Bunny, who is managed by Noah Assad of Rimas Entertainment, is having yet another stellar year with his “DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour”. Prior to the Super Bowl, the Latin rapper grossed a whopping $23.7 million across three shows at Estadio Atanasio Girardot in Medellín, Colombia, Jan. 23-25, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.

He was even more impressive last December during an eight-night stand in Mexico City. Bad Bunny moved 517,736 tickets and grossed $80,678,285, and he’s rumored to return to Mexico later this year (or it could also be wishful thinking from the fans who missed out on the shows).

Bad Bunny is represented worldwide by United Talent Agency’s Toni Wallace and Jbeau Lewis.
