Foo Fighters Announce Australia & New Zealand Stadium Run

During a one-off performance in Tasmania, Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl hinted his band would be heading back Down Under for a full run and he’s made good on the promise, as the Foo Fighters have announced a nine-show run in Australia and New Zealand.
The tour begins at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium Nov. 5 and includes stops in Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide before crossing the Tasman for shows in Christchurch and Auckland. The Foos then cross back to Australia to wrap the tour in Perth Jan. 25.
The tour — presented by Frontier Touring, along with Triple M in Australia and The Rock in New Zealand — will include support from local acts.
Presales begin Feb. 20 with general onsale at noon local time Feb. 25.
The Foo Fighters — also embarking on a North American stadium tour this year — are repped in Australia, New Zealand, South America, Mexico and Asia by CAA’s Marlene Tsuchii. Don Muller at WME is the band’s agent in North America and the agency’s Russell Warby books them in Europe and the U.K.
The band is managed by Michael Meisel and John Silva at SAM.
