Sunn O))) Announces Summer Headline Shows In Europe & UK

On the heels of releasing the new track “Butch’s Guns,” drone metal band Sunn O))) announced they will be visiting Europe and the United Kingdom this summer to promote their soon-to-be-released eponymous album.

Following a North American trek that includes shows in markets like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Philadelphia, Toronto and New York, the band hailing from Seattle will kick off its European run June 23 at Rote Fabrik in Switzerland. The routing includes stops at Paradiso in Amsterdam, The Dome in Liverpool, London’s Troxy and a two-night stand at Silent Green Betonhalle in Berlin. Additional dates will be announced, according to a release announcing the tour.

Sunn O))) is repped by United Talent Agency in North America and booked by Odyssey Booking and Wasserman Music in Europe and the U.K., respectively. The band’s new album drops April 3, and LP preorders are available through Sub Pop Mega Mart.

One of the band’s most successful showings was three years ago at The Neptune in Seattle, where they performed a sold-out concert in their hometown and grossed $41,250 off 1,000 tickets sold, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.
