New Edition, Cody Johnson Among Artists Making Top 10 Debuts On Weekly Charts

New Edition enters the top 10 on LIVE75 after the first round of box-office totals were reported from the “The New Edition Way Tour” that launched on Jan. 28 in Oakland, California. With an average of 13,549 tickets sold per night at five of the early shows on the trek, the veteran R&B group earns the No. 9 ranking, the highest by any touring headliner making their debut on the chart.
During the tour’s opening stretch of shows, fans in the Los Angeles market purchased the most tickets as the Kia Forum in Inglewood logged the largest attendance of any of the five venues. A total of 15,543 tickets were sold at the arena on Jan. 31 for a gross of $2.45 million, also the largest on the tour so far. The opening night performance at Oakland Arena drew a crowd of 14,301 and grossed $1.64 million.
Produced by Black Promoters Collective, New Edition’s tour also includes Boyz II Men and Toni Braxton in the lineup and is currently booked at arenas in 30 U.S. cities through early April.
Also with a top 10 debut on LIVE75 is Cody Johnson who lands on the chart following the kickoff of his “Cody Johnson Live 26” tour in Alabama. The country artist played back-to-back shows, Feb. 6-7, at Legacy Arena in the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex, selling a total of 21,206 tickets over both nights for a $1.67 million gross.
His tour is booked stateside in arenas through early September this year, but he has also planned a European tour for the fall. A series of festival appearances are also included on his schedule, along with a performance at George Strait’s May 2 concert at Clemson Memorial Stadium in South Carolina.
On Global Concert Pulse, three concert headliners make a debut appearance in the top 10 this week led by Backstreet Boys at No. 4 with an average gross just over $3 million per show. The group’s ranking is based on 10 of their concerts at Sphere in Las Vegas between Dec. 26 and Feb. 7. The ticket total from those shows reached 167,075 for a combined gross of $30,091,206.
Following at No. 6 are Brandy and Monica with a gross average of $1.64 million at 14 concerts during November and December of last year, part of their “The Boy Is Mine” co-headlining tour that began in Cincinnati, Ohio on Oct. 16 and ran through mid-December.
Then, Puerto Rican artist Rauw Alejandro ranks ninth on Global Concert Pulse with an average of $1.08 million from nine of the final performances on his “Cosa Nuestra World Tour.” During 2025, he played arena dates in North America and Europe before beginning his Latin American trek that ran during October and November.On the Artist Power Index, Kehlani (No. 24) has the highest ranked debut among artists who are making their first appearance during the past quarter, but Shakira reenters the chart this week and lands in the top 10. She scores the No. 5 ranking after resuming her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” in February. Her first event in 2026 was a five-show engagement at Estadio Jorge Magico Gonzalez in San Salvador, El Salvador, Feb. 7-15. Then, three more February stadium performances in Mexico at Tuxtla Gutierrez, Merida and Mexico City will complete her tour’s Latin American run.
