Metallica Enters Sphere Las Vegas With ‘Life Burns Faster’

Metallica is entering Sphere this October as the band announces their “Life Burns Faster” residency. The eight-show run kicks off Oct. 1 and lasts through Oct. 31, and is set to continue the band’s “No Repeat Weekend” tradition that they started with their “M72 World Tour,” where no songs were repeated on each Thursday and Saturday throughout the run.
Metallica will perform hits from across their career during their upcoming residency.
“About 12 seconds into the opening night of Sphere with U2 back in ’23, I thought, ‘We have to do this, it’s completely uncharted territory!'” Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich said in a statement. “This residency gives us another chance to reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting. We are beyond excited to share this with the world in six months time, and way fuckin’ psyched to go next level!”
Metallica is managed by Q Prime’s Cliff Burnstein and Peter Mensch, and are booked by Independent Artist Group’s Dennis Arfa and Adam Kornfeld.
With 510 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice dating back since 1999, Metallica has sold a total of 16.7 million tickets, with a total gross of $1.5 billion.
Two-night “No Repeat Weekend” and single-night tickets will go on sale March 6 at 10 a.m. PT
