Rush Announces 2027 South America & Europe Arena Dates

Rush co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will continue their “Fifty Something Tour” in celebration of the band’s legacy and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart with dates announced this week for a run of 2027 South American and Europe arena dates.
The new shows follow the previously announced “Fifty Something Tour” gigs in North America that launch in June with two shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. An announcement on the band’s website notes that the 2026 routing features 58 shows across 24 cities, with over half a million tickets sold.
The 2027 gigs mark the first time Rush has played Europe in 13 years and its first time visiting South America in 17 years. Next year’s tour plans kick off on Jan. 15 with a show at Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The itinerary boasts 24 shows across 13 countries including multiple nights in Brazil, along with stops in Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Manchester, London, Stockholm and more.
The evenings will feature two sets each night, promising a distinct selection of tunes with Rush building each show’s setlist “from a catalogue of 40+ songs including their greatest hits and fan favorites.”
Lee and Lifeson will be joined on tour by drummer, composer, and producer Anika Nilles, who has performed as Jeff Beck’s drummer for over 60 shows, as well as keyboard player Loren Gold, who has worked with The Who and Roger Daltrey.
“We can’t wait to get back to all these cities we haven’t played in so long, as well as hitting some new places we’ve yet to play,” Lee said in a statement. “Both Alex and I are loving the hours of rehearsal time we’re spending with Anika and now Loren, learning around 40 songs which will enable us to keep the shows evolving, playing some different songs on different nights. We are thrilled that many of our longstanding crew have come back to help us design the kind of RUSH show that fans have grown accustomed to expect from us. We dearly hope you will come along and help us celebrate 50 years of Rush music, while giving Neil the long overdue tribute he so richly deserves.”
The announcement also included a statement from Carrie Nuttall-Peart and Olivia Peart, Neil’s widow and daughter: “We are thrilled to support the Fifty Something tour, celebrating a band whose music has resonated and inspired fans for generations, and to honor Neil’s extraordinary legacy as both a drummer and lyricist. Neil’s musicianship was singular. Compositions of intricacy and power that expanded what rhythm itself could express. As both drummer and lyricist, he was irreplaceable. Inimitable in his artistry, and unmatched in the depth and imagination he brought to the lyrics that inspired and moved so many, he profoundly shaped how fans connected with him and the band, giving voice and meaning to their own lives. As the band enters this new chapter, it promises to be truly unforgettable. We are excited to see how their new vision unfolds, and to hear this legendary music played live once again.”

Rush’s tour dates outside the U.S. are booked by United Talent Agency’s Neil Warnock and the band is managed by SRO Management. Reports submitted to Pollstar for Rush’s 2013 European tour included a show at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam that sold 8,697 tickets and grossed $706,883.
