Gorillaz Announce North American Fall Tour Dates

Following the release of their new album, The Mountain, Gorillaz announced they’ll be setting out on tour this fall. The upcoming dates, promoted by Live Nation, features Gorillaz creator Damon Albarn joined onstage by the Gorillas live band and special guest performers. With 22 dates on the calendar, the upcoming run kicks off Sept. 17 at Kia Center in Orlando and features stops in Washington, D.C., New York City, Boston, Toronto, Denver, Los Angeles and more before wrapping on October. 31 at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.

Little Simz and Detron 3030 join Gorillaz as support on select dates throughout the tour. The virtual band recently debuted The Mountain and played it in its entirety at the U.S. opening of their House of Kong exhibition in Los Angeles.

Since Albarn and Jamie Hewlett created Gorillaz in 1998, the band featuring characters 2D (vocals), Murdoc Niccals (bass), Noodle (guitar) and Russel Hobbs (drums).

Gorillaz are managed by Eleven Management and booked by CAA in North America. With 102 headline reports submitted to Pollstar’s Boxoffice, with a total of 842,832 tickets, with a total gross of $66.5 million.

Tickets go on sale March 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
