J Balvin Breaks Into Pollstar’s APX Top 10

J Balvin makes a top 10 appearance on the Artist Power Index at No. 9 after performing on March 3 for 61,089 fans on the second night of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo held at NRG Stadium. Ranked highest among concert performers debuting on the chart this week, the Colombian singer’s show at the annual Houston event was his first headlining concert at the rodeo since 2018.
The Houston performance also marks the launch of his “Ciudad Primavera Tour” which will feature a string of stadium concerts at cities in his home country. His upcoming show on March 21 at Estadio Pascual Guerrero in Cali, Colombia will be followed by outdoor concerts in six more Colombian cities through May 9. Next, he will perform at arenas in three Mexican cities, beginning with a two-night stint at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes, May 14-15. Then, shows at Arena VFG in Guadalajara and Arena Monterrey will complete the Latin American trek on May 20. He will also travel to the U.S. that same week to headline the opening night of the “Sueños Music Festival” at Chicago’s Grant Park, May 23-24.
The night before Balvin’s Houston show, Riley Green headlined the first concert at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo which is set to run through March 22 with concerts planned every night at NRG Stadium. Attendance for the country singer’s concert on March 2 reached 59,921, also earning him an appearance this week on the Artist Power Index at No. 38. His most recent ranking on APX was on the first chart published this year, dated Jan. 9. That week he appeared at No. 46 in the lineup.
After his Houston show, Green will next head Down Under to kick off the Australian leg of his “Cowboy As It Gets Tour” with arena concerts planned in Melbourne and Sydney, followed by a festival headlining appearance at “CMC Rocks QLD.” Then on April 16, he will launch the North American leg of the tour at Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi. Set primarily in outdoor amphitheaters, along with a handful of arenas, the tour will run stateside throughout the summer and feature support by Justin Moore, Drake White and various other show openers. Green will also make appearances at a few country music festivals during the summer months, then his tour finale is set for Aug. 22 at Grand Forks, North Dakota’s Ralph Engelstad Arena.
This week the Artist Power Index also features a return to No. 1 by Ed Sheeran who last earned the top ranking on Jan. 23. However, he has remained on the chart every week since then, ranked No. 2 for two weeks and then No. 3 on the three most recent charts. His success this year on APX coincides with the opening leg of his “Loop Tour” that began on Jan. 16 and featured concerts at stadiums in New Zealand and Australia through March 5.
Holding the No. 1 ranking on both LIVE75 and Global Concert Pulse is Bad Bunny who has been a mainstay on the Pollstar weekly charts since the beginning of 2026. Ticket sales from stadium concerts on his “Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour” have secured his top ranking on LIVE75 six times this year, and on Global Concert Pulse, he has scored the top ranking in eight of the nine weeks since the beginning of the year.This week, he is No. 1 on LIVE75 with a ticket average of 55,771 from eight concerts, while his gross average per show, during the three-month eligibility time period for Global Concert Pulse, is $8.6 million from 23 performances.
