Actress and cultural force Jill Scott and Live Nation Urban announced the “To Whom This May Concern World Tour,” a global 36-date run across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa.

The tour kicks off June 4 in Nashville, before traveling through major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Oakland, Washington D.C., and Scott’s hometown of Philadelphia. Tickets are available now.

The “To Whom This May Concern Tour” centers on a series of residency-style performances, placing live band instrumentation at the heart of the experience with uniquely curated shows in each market.

“Creating unique experiences for people in every city is incredibly important to me,” Scott stated in the announcement. “Music is a conversation, and the stage is where we come together to share truth, joy, and the beauty of being alive.”

The tour news coincides with Scott’s critically-acclaimed sixth studio album, To Whom This May Concern, which was released Feb. 13 via Blues Babe and Human Re Sources. Marking her first studio album in more than a decade, the project ushers in a new chapter in Scott’s celebrated career. The project has already generated more than 35 million streams worldwide
