Hours before the band was scheduled to take the stage at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Australia, Linkin Park announced on social media that their “From Zero World Tour” show had been canceled due to a member of the band being struck with an illness.

The band has been in Australia for the past few weeks, performing shows in Boondall and Melbourne. The concert in Adelaide was the only stop scheduled in South Australia, and the band stated that it would not be rescheduled and that tickets would be refunded at the point of sale.

“We made the extremely difficult decision to cancel tonight’s show due to an illness in the band,” Linkin Park said in a statement. “The Australian tour has been incredible so far and we are devastated that we’re unable to perform for our fans in Adelaide. Unfortunately, the show will not be rescheduled.

“Please know that canceling a show is not a decision we take lightly,” they added. “We are sorry to those fans who were planning to attend.”

The band seems to be moving forward with its upcoming shows in Sydney at Qudos Bank Arena on March 14 and 15. Linkin Park wraps up the Australasia leg of its Live Nation-promoted tour in Auckland, New Zealand, on March 18. They will then take a small break before embarking on the European leg of “From Zero World Tour,” which begins May 29 in Stockholm, Sweden, and runs through the end of June.
