Ledisi, Durand Bernarr, Big Freedia, Destin Conrad Headlining 15th Edition Of Blue Note Jazz Festival In New York

The lineup is set for the 15th edition of the Blue Note Jazz Festival in New York, and the stacked event will feature performances by Ledisi, Durand Bernarr, Big Freedia, UMI, Destin Conrad and many more.

Blue Note Entertainment Group’s long-running event kicks off June 1 with hip-hop group Arrested Development at Sony Hall, and the festival spans multiple venues across New York City, including the Blue Note Jazz Club and SummerStage. There will also be a Blue Note Jazz Fest Midnight Jam presented by Chris Rob on June 26, as well as Blue Note’s jazz brunches and more.

Other acts to perform at the festival include Kokoroko, Cymande, Take 6, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Jose James, BLK ODYSSY and Louie Vega: Elements of Life. This year’s event features a balanced bill featuring contemporary and progressive R&B acts and the greatest jazz musicians, including MonoNeon, Isaiah Collier, Brian Blade, Chief Adjuah, Marcus Gilmore and Brandee Younger, to powerful vocalists including Ledisi, Durand Bernarr, Big Freedia, Kokoroko, UMI, Destin Conrad and BLK ODYSSY.

This year’s lineup spans from Big Freedia to Brian Blade, to Ledisi and Durand Bernarr; from Dirty Dozen Brass Band to Kokoroko and MonoNeon. Chief Xian aTunde Adjuah to Destin Conrad and BLK ODYSSY. Incomparable voices that creatively propel the sound and music culture forward.”
