CAREER GUIDING PHILOSOPHY | “Keep it simple: play to your strengths,
trust your gut, and give yourself the space to think.”

Jackie Antas

In 2025, Live Nation Entertainment entered Jackie Antas into its Australia and New Zealand Legend club, for 15 years of employment and being “a vital key to the business’s success.”

“The last year delivered the full gamut of incredible experiences,” Antas recounts. These included opening the spectacular TIDES in Hong Kong, and the launch of the Next One series that placed emerging acts in LN venues in ANZ with full production.

Her concert highlights in the last year include Lady Gaga, which she calls a life-changing experience “because it gave me an even deeper appreciation for the true maverick she is,” as well as Metallica and Oasis, who both played massive stadium shows Down Under in late October/November.

Hitting London “determined to make my mark” as an upstart in the professional world, Antas’ previous professional stints included PR in crisis and reputation agency Borkowski, Virgin Megastores, Academy Music Group and Ticketmaster International.

Her time as a radio DJ primes her for her karaoke nights out, and in her spare time she practises as an Overe specialised holistic kinesiologist.

“One of the best things about a company like Live Nation is the chance to work across divisions and markets, which eventually brought me back home to Australia (to Melbourne) in my current role,” Antas says.

She says it’s important to keep it simple and play to your own strengths: “Some of the best decisions don’t come from rushing or over-analysing, but from being present enough to really listen – to your instincts, your team, and the moment you’re in.”

Leaders who shaped Antas’ career include Jemma Downey (Asaki/ Overe), Selina Emeny (LN international group counsel) and Mark Yovich (president of Ticketmaster). And she shouts out Kelly Chappel (LN promoter), Ali Harnell (LN Nashville) and Sarah Slater (Ticketmaster UK) as constant inspirations. Plus, Antas names Charly Beedell-Tuck at Solo as a non-LN exec she’d recommend for WOL thanks to her being “a formidable agent, deeply passionate about her artists, and someone who makes it all look effortlessly cool.”
