930,000 Visitors In Six Months: Roig Arena Valencia Celebrates Milestone

In its first six months of operation, Roig Arena in Valencia, Spain has welcomed more than 930,000 visitors, who attended one of 182 sports, music, entertainment and corporate events held during this period.

Among those events were more than 60 concerts held across the arena’s two spaces, the 20,000-capacity main arena, and the 2,000-capacity Roig Arena Auditorium, welcoming a total 410,000 guests (360,000 at the main arena, 50,000 at the Auditorio).

Of those 60 concerts, 31 shows sold-out shows. Some highlights taken from the Pollstar Boxoffice include the Sept. 12 performance by Columbian singer Camilo, which sold 11,978 tickets at a $482,401 gross, promoted by Iglesias Entertainment.

Spanish icon Joaquín Sabina sold out Roig Arena three times, Oct. 9-13, moving a total 35,892 tickets at a $3,004,303 gross. The concerts were promoted by Riff Producciones, who also brought Manuel Carrasco (pictured) to Valencia, Sept. 20, moving 14,503 tickets, grossing $799,979.

Roig Arena’s opening concert on Sept. 6, 2025, headlined by another famous Spanish singer, David Bisbal, sold 13,034 tickets, and grossed $1,267,149.

The international lineup includes Roxette on Nov. 15 (5,140 tickets, $291,845 gross), Il Volo on Dec. 18 (7,025, $390,095), and André Rieu, Jan. 30, 2026 (11,585, $1,315,416).

The venue has also hosted the LOS40 Music Awards, featuring artists such as Rosalía, Ed Sheeran and Myles Smith. Meanwhile, the nearly 60 corporate events held in the different spaces of Roig Arena have attracted around 50,000 attendees.

As the home court of the Valencia Basket, Roig Arena registered a total of 370,000 attendees at the men’s and women’s first-team games (both competing in their respective national leagues and the EuroLeague). Additionally, 102,000 fans attended the Copa del Rey, held at the venue Feb. 19-22.

Roig Arena cost €400 million ($459 million) to build, entirely funded by Juan Roig, president of the Mercadona supermarket chain.
