TMWRK Promotes Diplo Co-Manager Renee Brodeur to GM

Management company TMWRK has promoted partner and executive vice president Renee Brodeur to general manager, effective immediately. Brodeur has been with the company more than a decade and currently co-manages Diplo, Major Lazer and A-Trak with founder and CEO Andrew McInnes. She also manages DRAMA and Kito.
“I couldn’t be more excited to step into this new role at TMWRK,” says Brodeur. “My 14 years with the company have been an incredible journey, and I’m grateful every day to work with amazing artists and be surrounded by such immensely talented peers. I look forward to TMWRK’s continued growth and am honored to be part of this journey alongside such a sharp and fearless leader as Andrew McInnes.”
“Renee has been an essential member of TMWRK for more than 14 years,” adds McInnes. “I’m excited to have her step into the roll of GM and continue to grow the business together across all aspects of the entertainment business. We’re lucky to have her.”
Brodeur began her nearly two-decade career in music at Epic Records, where she rose through the ranks of the Artist Development department. After five years at the label, Brodeur joined her longtime friend McInnes at TMWRK in 2012, a year after the company’s inception.
Brodeur first served as a day-to-day manager and now as GM will focus on big picture strategic planning and partnerships while overseeing her roster, the announcement states, with recent successes including the launch and expansion of Diplo’s Run Club, which just concluded its second season with 100,000 attendees across events in eight U.S. cities.
Brodeur is credited with propelling growth at TMWRK, which has expanded from New York to Los Angeles and London, and championing women within the company’s ranks, both professionally and talent-wise.
