SGPS/ShowRig, Inc. Promotes Benjamin Lampman To VP Of TouringĀ

SGPS/ShowRig, Inc. has promoted Benjamin Lampman to Vice President of Touring, the company specializing in rigging, staging, and live production automation announced March 18.
Lampman previously served as the General Manager and Sales Lead for the companyās Las Vegas operations and will now oversee the strategic direction and execution of the company’s premier touring division across its seven U.S. locations.
As part of his new role Lampman will āwork closely with SGPS/ShowRigās automation and engineering teams to integrate Raynok motion control systems into large-scale touring productions and will leverage these expanded technical capabilities to deliver integrated, high-performance solutions for the worldās largest concert tours and live events.ā
Todayās announcement notes that SGPS/ShowRig has been experiencing a milestone period including Decemberās acquisition of Niscon Inc. and the January 2026 appointment of Joseph Jeremy as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

Lampman has over 25 years of experience in the scenic and entertainment industries. Prior to joining SGPS/ShowRig in 2019, he served as Director of Projects at Production Resource Group (PRG) and heās also worked at the Long Wharf Theatre and Manhattan Theatre Club, as well as contributing his expertise to projects for The Public Theater, Hudson Scenic Studios, and Global Scenic Services.
During his time at SGPS/ShowRig heās been involved with projects for blink-182, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and the automation installation at LIV Nightclub at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. His resume also includes working on major tours such as Queen + Adam Lambert, as well as high-profile Broadway productions including āMoulin Rouge.ā
