Shakira isn’t done with her record-breaking “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” just yet. The Colombian superstar announced a three-night residency in Madrid, Spain, at a stadium exclusively built for the event.

The venue dubbed as Shakira Stadium will host the Grammy-winning artist Sept. 25-27, marking the singer-songwriter’s first performance in the country since 2018’s “El Dorado World Tour.”

The show is produced by Live Nation Spain, and the large-scale temporary venue integrated into Iberdrola Music, a site capable of hosting music festivals, will host more than 50,000 fans each night. The venue is designed by Bjarke Ingels Group and will feature full visibility, stellar acoustics and premium fan experiences, similar to what Adele accomplished in Munich two years ago.

Shakira Stadium will be an immersive cultural destination in Madrid, and the city will host a range of activities—including concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, film, gastronomy, literature and shared cultural experiences—curated by Shakira under the name Es Latina.

Tickets for the historic shows go on sale to the general public on March 27 at 10 a.m. CET via livenation.es. The artist presale begins March 24 at 10 a.m. CET, and fans must sign up at https://signup.ticketmaster.es/shakira by March 22 at 10 p.m. CET. There will also be a SMusic presale beginning March 25 at 10 a.m. CET, followed by a Live Nation presale on March 26.

The European residency comes on the heels of Shakira’s nomination for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Latin star began her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour” in February 2025 and has broken records everywhere she’s gone. Her global trek has grossed more than $347 million off 2.7 million tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice, making it the highest-grossing tour by a Latin artist.

Shakira concluded her Mexican run by performing a free show at El Zócalo in Mexico City on March 1, drawing a record 400,000 fans. She performed 13 sold-out shows at Estadio GNP Seguros and set a record for having the most performances at the venue on a single tour and selling more than 800,000 tickets while doing it.

Before going to Spain, Shakira has shows in Brazil this spring, and she is headlining the Todo Mundo No Rio concert on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach on May 2.
