Before kicking off the “Land of Hope & Dreams American Tour” March 31 at Target Center in Minneapolis, Bruce Springsteen will take it to the streets of the Twin Cities to perform his anti-ICE protest song at a No Kings Rally this Saturday in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The Boss is set to play “Streets of Minneapolis,” a song he released in late January in response to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis and ICE officers killing two American citizens, Renée Good and Alex Pretti.

He confirmed with the Minnesota Star Tribune that he’d be at the rally along with Joan Baez, Maggie Rogers, Sen. Bernie Sanders and actor Jane Fonda. Organizers expect tens of thousands of people to participate in Saturday’s march.

“You want to try to meet the moment,” Springsteen told the Minnesota Star Tribune on Monday. “The No Kings movement is of great import right now.

“When you have the opportunity to sing something where the timing is essential and if you have something powerful to sing, it elevates the moment, it elevates your job to another level. And I’m always in search of that,” the legendary rock star added.

Springsteen hasn’t been shy about his feelings toward President Donald Trump and the current administration, which he called “corrupt” and “treasonous” during a concert in Berlin last summer.

What transpired in Minneapolis had an effect on the legendary rock star, prompting him to write the protest song and release a video on YouTube, which attracted millions of views in its first day. He also surprised the crowd at Tom Morello’s protest concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis and performed “Streets of Minneapolis.”

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band are embarking on an arena tour next week that runs through May.

Springsteen’s tour dates are booked by Creative Artist Agency’s Rob Light and BPB Consulting’s Barry Bell. He is managed by Jon Landau. Springsteen & The E Street Band ranked No. 22 on Pollstar’s 2025 Year End Top Touring Artists Worldwide chart with 758,640 total tickets sold and an average gross of $5,661,279.
