THE·TEAM Promotes 5 Team Members, Hires 2 UK-Based Agents

THE·TEAM announced the promotion of six employees and the addition of two new team members, the global company announced Wednesday.
The agency hired Belinda Law and Ishsha Bourguet, two London-based music agents who boast decades of booking experience.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Belinda and Ishsha to our team,” Alex Hardee, EVP & managing executive at THE·TEAM, said in a statement. “They each bring a deep understanding of the global touring landscape and share our artist-first mindset and collaborative approach to building careers. We’re excited to have them help drive the continued growth of our London office and broader international business.”
Law joins THE·TEAM as vice president and agent. She previously worked at Australia’s Premier Artists and later held roles at Primary Talent International, Echo Location Talent Agency and, most recently, United Talent Agency, working with acts like Diplo, Major Lazer, Dillon Francis and Jazzy.
As a former promoter and DJ, Bourguet introduced U.K. bass music to South Africa before transitioning to the role of agent at Echo Location Talent, where she represented artists including Tyla, Buju Banton and Mr Eazi.
Committed to developing talent from within, THE·TEAM promoted Carly Goldberg, India Lawson, Seven Jarrett, Lauren LoLordo, and Sean Merlin.
“Nurturing the careers of talented members of our global team is core to our culture and the way we serve our artists,” said Lee Anderson, president of THE·TEAM’s music group. “Carly, India, Seven, Lauren, and Sean have each made meaningful contributions to our business and to the artists we represent. We’re proud to recognize their hard work and leadership with these well-earned promotions and excited to see them continue growing.”
Goldberg takes on the role of direct and agent. Based in New York, she will continue supporting the agency’s global touring business while developing performance opportunities for her roster, which includes Geese & Cameron Winter, Slow Pulp, Dove Ellis, Racing Mount Pleasant, Westside Cowboy, Jeff Rosenstock and The Wonder Years.
Lawson, who is based in London, was elevated to senior manager and agent. Her roster includes ALISHA, DJ BORING, DJ HEARTSTRING, Eliza Rose, Enzo Siragusa, MCR-T and SHERELLE.
Jarrett will serve as manager and agent in festivals, where she will focus on securing bookings for THE·TEAM’s roster while developing relationships with festival promoters and talent buyers.
LoLordo is promoted to manager and agent in performing arts centers. Based in Chicago, she will continue expanding opportunities for acts across casinos and performing arts centers while developing the agency’s growing presence in that circuit.
Merlin is based in Los Angeles and elevated to the role of manager and agent in the tour marketing department. He will work closely with the tour marketing team to help create and develop strategic marketing campaigns for artists touring around the globe.
