Foreigner Adds Dates To 50th Anniversary Tour

Foreigner is expanding its 50th anniversary celebration with the addition of new tour dates including stops in Albuquerque, New Mexico; El Paso, Texas; Scottsdale, Arizona and Reno, Nevada.
The legendary rock band launched its anniversary plans in February with two acoustic shows in Beaver Creek, Colorado. After that, Foreigner’s orchestral trek kicked off with a residency at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, March 6-14. As previously reported, the Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have also lined up a run of dates in Florida in April with original vocalist Lou Gramm as the band’s special guest, followed by a 26-date European tour in June and July. The band is also teaming up with Lynyrd Skynyrd this summer for the “Double Trouble Double Vision” coheadline tour, featuring amphitheater shows booked across the U.S.
In other exciting Foreigner news, “Feels Like The First Time – The Foreigner Musical” will premiere at The Little Theatre on Long Island University’s Brookville campus next month, with 11 performances booked April 17 through April 26. The musical, which is directed by Broadway star Adam Pascal, is a collaboration between Foreigner, The Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, and LIU’s Post Theatre Company. . An announcement from the band’s PR team notes that the musical “is set in 1985 and follows an ordinary suburban family whose lives are turned upside down when they win an extraordinary MTV sweepstakes—a weekend visit from a rock icon, culminating in a private concert in their own backyard.” Tickets are available now at TillesCenter.org/FLTFT.
Foreigner has booked more than 90 shows this year and will continue its celebration into 2027 to mark the 50th anniversary of the March 8, 1977 release of its self-titled debut album.
“When I started Foreigner in 1976, I never could have imagined that these songs would carry us through fifty years and still resonate with audiences around the world. This anniversary is a celebration not just of the music, but of the fans who have been with us every step of the way,” founder and band leader Mick Jones said in a statement.
Foreigner is booked in the U.S. and Canada by THE·TEAM’s Dan Weiner and Kevin Kastrup and in Latin America by Ryan Soroka, and the band’s European dates are booked by Georg Leitner Productions GmbH’s Georg Leitner.
