The Goods, a beloved Miami rock band that formed in 1989 by brothers Jim and John Camacho, is performing live on stage for the first time in over two decades to celebrate the release of a new documentary, Love Will Come To You, detailing the band’s rise and influence.

Jim and John Camacho will be joined by bandmates Tony Oms and Kasmir Kujawa to perform a one-night-only show at Mandelstam Theater in South Miami on April 25. Though the band briefly reunited 15 years ago to perform a tribute to Camacho’s mother, who had passed away, the show later this month is the band’s first formal headline show since the foursome disbanded in 1999.

“The moment we got together again in the same room that muscle memory kicked in and it was like we’d never stopped playing together. I can’t wait for us to get in front of an audience again. That’s where we belong,” Jim Camacho said.

Before the concert, fans will be treated to a sneak preview of Love Will Come To You. Tickets to the show begin at $25 and can be purchased at www.thegoodslive.com.

The Goods released five albums between 1989 and 1998, showing a different side of themselves in each release. They quickly became Miami darlings, and their story will be told in the new documentary, which features archival footage, personal histories and a deep catalog of recordings.

“It’s such a thrill to be playing with The Goods again. We created so much music and memories, and just getting together again in the same room, no matter how many years go by… there’s still that same electricity between the four of us, that magic connection. It’s going to be a very exciting night!” John Camacho said.

In addition to the doc, the band is compiling previously unheard recordings and archival material from their catalog for a release on Think Like A Key Records.
